How it works

   Orchard runs through MCP in your editor.

   Your coding agent automatically calls Orchard through MCP, understands what your app needs, and connects the right backend services.

   Why MCP?

   MCP keeps Orchard inside your editor with full project context. Unlike an SDK or CLI, you get:

   • No packages to install or API docs to wire up
   • No terminal commands to run or remember
   • Your agent uses your project's exact context to set up the Orchard backend for you

   Connect Orchard to Cursor, Claude, Codex, or Antigravity. Copy the MCP config from the Connect tab, paste it into your editor, and sign in with Google.

Storage

Cloud file storage for your app.

Use Storage when your app needs to upload, store, list, or download files.

There are no cloud accounts, API keys, or buckets to set up. Orchard manages all the infrastructure, and your agent wires it into your app for you.

When to use Storage

Use Storage whenever your app needs to keep or serve user files:

• Profile photos and avatars
• Image and photo galleries
• Videos and other user-generated media
• File attachments on tickets, messages, or records
• Documents, PDFs, resumes, and receipts
• Letting users download a file you saved for them

Start free. The Free plan includes a monthly allowance at no charge. Upgrade to Builder to keep going past it: you get double the allowance included, then pay only for what goes over.

• Storage: 0.5 GB free on Free; 1 GB included on Builder, then $0.02 per GB per month.
• Uploads & changes: 50,000 per month free on Free; 100,000 included on Builder, then $6.00 per million.
• Views & downloads: 500,000 per month free on Free; 1,000,000 included on Builder, then $0.50 per million.

Database

Managed database for your app.

Use Database when your app needs to create, store, update, query, or delete structured records.

There are no database servers, connection strings, or credentials to set up. Orchard manages all the infrastructure, and your agent wires it into your app for you.

Use Database whenever your app needs to store and query structured records:

• User accounts and profiles
• Posts, comments, and messages
• Orders, carts, and product catalogs
• App settings and user preferences
• Form submissions and saved lists

Auth

Managed login for your app.

Use Auth when your app needs users to sign in, create accounts, manage sessions, or access user-specific data.

Orchard Auth currently supports Google login. There are no OAuth apps, client IDs, secrets, or callback URLs to set up. Orchard manages the whole sign-in flow, and your agent wires it into your app for you.

When to use Auth

Use Auth whenever your app needs people to sign in and have their own identity:

• Google sign-in and user accounts
• Logged-in pages and protected content
• Per-user data tied to who's signed in
• Sessions and sign-out
• Showing a user their own profile

Email

Managed transactional email for your app.

Use Email when your app needs to send email to your users.

There are no email providers, domains, DNS records, or API keys to set up. Orchard manages all the sending infrastructure, and your agent wires it into your app for you.

Use Email whenever your app needs to send a message to a person:

• Welcome and verification emails
• Password-reset and account-update emails
• Order receipts and confirmations
• Notifications when something happens
• Support and contact-form replies

Deploy

Managed frontend deployment for your app.

Use Deploy when your app needs a public URL that anyone can open in a browser.

There are no hosting accounts, domains, build settings, or deployment pipelines to set up. Orchard manages all the hosting, and your agent builds, publishes, and updates it for you. Every project gets a live Orchard URL the moment you deploy.

When to use Deploy

Use Deploy whenever you want to put your frontend online:

• A public URL for your web app
• Landing and marketing pages
• Dashboards and internal tools
• Prototypes and demos you want to share
• Any static frontend (a dist/ or build/ folder)

Deploy is free. Hosting and deployments are never metered or billed, on every plan.

Analytics

Product analytics for your app.

See how many people actually use your app. Page views, active users, funnels, retention, and day-by-day history are all included. When you want it, Orchard also shows where your users are, a useful reference for your marketing.

No analytics accounts, vendor scripts, or API keys. Your agent adds one tiny tracking call, and it works from any hosting.

When to use Analytics

Use Analytics whenever you want to see real activity in your app:

• Where visitors and logged-in users are from
• Visitor counts for today, last week, or any past date
• Most-viewed pages and day-by-day trends
• Active users (DAU/MAU), funnels, conversion, weekly retention
• Custom events, like signup clicks or checkouts
• Estimated response speed from nine world regions

Ask your agent

• "Where are today's visitors from?"
• "How many monthly active users does my app have?"
• "What was our DAU three days ago?"
• "What percentage of visitors who view pricing end up signing up?"
• "How fast is my site from Seoul? Which regions are slowest?"

Regional performance

Turn on performance monitoring and Orchard probes your site or API hourly from nine world regions. Next to each user location you see the nearest region's:

• Estimated latency: time to first response
• Load time: time to deliver the full page
• Availability: successful checks over the last 7 days
• Latest test time, plus a week-over-week trend

These are synthetic estimates from Orchard's monitoring regions, not the actual speed of any individual visitor.

Seeing your results

Ask your agent anytime; it replies with the latest numbers right in the chat. A dashboard view is coming later.

• Counting starts when tracking is turned on. No earlier data exists.
• Locations are approximate (city-level).
• Visitors are counted anonymously. No addresses or personal identifiers are stored.

Analytics pricing

Analytics is free. Tracked events and stats are never metered or billed, on every plan.
